When you purchase a home in Country Club Estates and The Peak, you are contractually required to be a member of the homeowners association (HOA).
- The HOA is an organization established to manage our private, planned community. The HOA is governed by a board of directors who are elected by the members (homeowners), and a set of rules called bylaws. The bylaws govern how the HOA operates and contain the information needed to run the HOA as an organization.
- The rules of the HOA community are described in what is called the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The CC&Rs are the rules of our neighborhood. The goal of the CC&Rs is to protect, preserve, and enhance property values in the community.
- To ensure our neighborhood retains its charm and value, the HOA board enlists help from board elected homeowners, who serve on the Architectural Control Committee (ACC).
The ACC is responsible for verifying the exterior of neighborhood homes and properties are properly maintained and adhere to neighborhood aesthetic standards. The ACC Guidelines are the aesthetic standards that should be followed by all homeowners.
